Update: Property Filters

We added three features so you can configure search filters more precisely. You can apply functions to properties to filter by the unit you want, such as year, day of week, or string length; you can set comparison conditions between two properties; and you can register frequently used filter values as favorites for quick access.
Why we need this
There are times when you need granular analysis, such as "I only want to see inquiries that came in on Monday," "I want to extract only reviews that received a same-day reply," or "I want to compare the engagement rate of posts with short titles." Also, in environments where a property has dozens of values, quick access to the values you use most is essential.
With this update, you can set conditions more precisely and apply filters faster.
Property filter functions
You can apply functions to date/time properties and text properties to filter by the unit you want. Instead of the full value, you set conditions on a specific component only.
Date/time functions
- DATE: Compare by date only, excluding the time. By filtering for cases where the DATE of the inquiry intake time matches the DATE of the resolution time, you can immediately identify inquiries resolved the same day.
- YEAR / MONTH / DAY: Analyze trends by year, month, and day. Filtering for reviews where the MONTH of the creation date is 12 surfaces year-end review trends, and filtering for records where the YEAR of the hire date is 2025 extracts new hires in 2025.
- HOUR / MINUTE / SECOND: Identify patterns by time of day. Filtering for posts where the HOUR of the creation time is between 22 and 24 lets you analyze late-night community activity patterns.
- DAYOFWEEK: Analyze trends by day of the week. Filtering for inquiries where the DAYOFWEEK of the intake date is Monday lets you identify the types of inquiries concentrated at the start of the week.
Text functions
- LENGTH: Filter based on text length. Filtering for reviews where the LENGTH of the body is 100 or more extracts only detailed reviews, and filtering for posts where the LENGTH of the title is 10 or less lets you analyze the engagement rate of short titles.
- LOWER / UPPER: Compare without regard to letter case. Filtering for cases where the UPPER of a tag contains 'VIP' finds all VIP-related data regardless of the input format.
- TRIM: Compare using values with leading and trailing whitespace removed. You can ignore unnecessary whitespace introduced during data entry and achieve accurate matching.
Property comparison filters
You can set the relationship between two properties as a condition. Instead of a fixed value, comparing against another property enables more meaningful filtering.
- Comparing inquiry intake date and resolution date: Filter for cases where the day of the week of the intake date matches that of the resolution date to extract inquiries resolved the same day.
- Comparing review creation date and reply date: Filter for cases where the reply date is within 3 days of the review creation date to identify reviews that received a quick response.
- Comparing post creation date and first comment date: Filter for cases where the DATE of the first comment matches the DATE of the post creation to analyze the characteristics of posts that drew same-day reactions.
- Comparing target output and actual output: Filter for cases where the actual output is less than the target output to immediately spot lines that fell short of the target.
- Comparing budget and actual spend: Filter for campaigns where the actual spend exceeded the budget to review over-budget cases right away.
You can combine the existing 'property value filter' with the new 'property comparison filter' to set even more complex conditions.
Filter value favorites
You can register frequently used filter values as favorites. Clicking the star in the value list adds it to favorites and displays it first at the top.
- Quick access to key inquiry types: Bookmark important types such as product inquiries or special requests, and you can select them directly from a list of more than 10 types without scrolling.
- Pinning key review channels: Bookmark the review platforms or channels you monitor frequently, and you can apply the filter quickly during your daily review check.
- Prioritizing key community boards: Bookmark active boards or categories, and your community monitoring work speeds up.
- Instantly filtering assigned accounts/clients: Bookmark only your assigned accounts among hundreds, and you can instantly access the data you need.
