Update: Usability improvements

To help you use Deskroom faster and more efficiently, we improved usability across analysis and search. Here are features you can put to work in decision-making right away, with no extra setup.
View property value distribution in search results
Before diving deep into your data, there are times you want to grasp the overall flow first. Before going through every single row, you start with the big picture—questions like "How is this property's value distributed overall?" or "What patterns emerge over time?"
Now, when you hover over the icon in a property header in the search results table, the full value distribution chart for that property appears instantly. You can skim the distribution before opening the detailed data and set your direction for where to focus. The chart type is automatically determined based on the data type.
Without building a separate dashboard, you can grasp the overall shape of your data right when you begin exploring.
Flip rows and columns in the trend dashboard
You can now flip the rows and columns in the trend dashboard table.
Previously, time was fixed to rows and metrics to columns. When there were many metrics or time-series comparison was the focus, there were cases where you wanted to view it the other way around. Now a single flip button lets you instantly swap the time and metric axes.
Object hierarchy representation
When a single object such as "Order" derives several objects like Customer, LTV, and Order Detail, there were cases where the relationships were not easy to grasp at a glance.
In this update, we improved the UI to intuitively represent the hierarchical relationships between objects. Which object derives from where, and the parent-child relationships, are now reflected in the layout—so even users encountering the ontology structure for the first time can understand it more quickly.
View chart or table separately
In the dashboard, you can now switch with an icon click between viewing only the chart, the chart and table together, or only the table. Choose the view that fits the situation to see your data in the form you want.
Dashboard search
When you have many dashboards, you can now search them directly by name. You can quickly find the dashboard you want without scrolling.
Edit view names
You can now edit the name of a created view directly. You can manage views with names that match their purpose.
Each of these small features has a clear use, so try them out one by one. We will keep building an environment that reduces repetitive actions and lets you focus more on analysis and decision-making.
